CSI 2008 Call for PapersCSI 2008 Call for Papers is now closed.CSI 2008 will be held November 15-21 in Washington, D.C. and will attract security professionals from around the world- The event and the experience is generated by people like you, dealing with the most relevant topics that are impacting security professionals today. Conference Structure The conference consists of approximately 100 sessions, divided into 10 tracks.
Selection Criteria Competition is high for speaking slots at the CSI Conference. We typically are able to only select about 1 in 10 of the submissions, so we urge you to make sure yours follows our guidelines, and accurately reflects the strength of your experience and expertise. Each submission is rated based on the abstract's concept, depth, organization and speaker's credentials. In addition, if you have previously presented at a CSI conference, the CSI Conference Selection Committee will also weigh in your evaluation results from previous presentations. Speaker Benefits As a speaker, you will receive a complimentary Conference Badge. This badge gives you access to all classes, keynotes, panels, roundtables and special events. Additionally, speakers will receive extensive exposure in the CSI Conference Catalog (received by 125,000 information security professionals), the CSI Show Guide and Directory and on the CSI Conference website. Speaking at CSI 2008 allows you the chance to meet and network with fellow faculty, colleagues, and industry press. Speaking Obligations When you agree to speak at the conference you are making a commitment to come well prepared and to speak on the topic you proposed. The submitter also agrees to be available to present his/her session during any day of the conference (November 17-19, 2008). As part of your speaking obligation, you are required to provide a suitable presentation that will be included in the conference CD-ROM and will be posted to the CSI Conference website. Upon acceptance, you will be notified of the deadline for your materials. Submission Guidelines If your abstract is accepted, you will be notified by May 2008. Rejection notices will not be sent out until late-June. Accepted abstracts and faculty bios will be published in the CSI course catalog and on the CSI Conference website. Acceptance of your abstract does not include compensation for your participation or for your travel expenses.
