You are required to enter all pieces of information to complete your submission. Guidelines to Structuring Your Submission There are several elements that are important when structuring your submission. The "Presentation Abstract" section is your opportunity to describe to the Conference Selection Committee what's special about the session you propose. What will attendees say they got from this session (its takeaways)? What ideas will they have not previously encountered? Why are you the right person to lead the session? Again, you will have 130 words for this section. Be sure to include:
The "Presentation Synopsis" is a simplified version of your abstract that, if selected, will be printed in the Conference Catalog and posted on the Conference Website. Attendees will base much of their interest for your session on this synopsis, so it is important that your synopsis contains all of the most essential information to promote your session. You only have 50 words for your synopsis. Speaker Notification You will receive automatic e-mail notification once your proposal(s) is submitted. You will also have the opportunity to modify your proposal(s) up until the submission deadline. Once all abstracts are reviewed, speaker selections will be made in May 2008. We will not notify speakers of rejected abstracts until late June. Accepted abstracts and speaker bios will be published in our course catalog and on our website. Please note, that an invitation to speak does not include compensation or that Computer Security Institute (CSI) will be responsible for your expenses. Submission Form As a reminder, you must complete all required fields to successfully complete your submission. Please take the time to review the required fields.
