The Information Security Executive (ISE) North America Awards Gala, held on the evening of Monday, November 17 is the spectacular event of the year and the perfect way to round off two days of intense meetings. Extraordinary IT and Information Security leaders in the United States and Canada are recognized for outstanding achievements in 2008. The call for nominations is now open to nominate a deserving executive and/or project team for the ISE North America Executive of the Year and Project of the Year Awards in Academic, Government, and Commercial sectors. (ISC)²® VIP Lounge for (ISC)²® Members
(ISC)²® is very excited to roll out the red carpet for its members at the launch of the exclusive (ISC)²® VIP Lounge (taking the place of the (ISC)²® Reception.) The (ISC)²® Lounge will be on the expo hall floor, and will be a place for (ISC)²® members to relax, with light refreshments and snacks available.

Capture the Flag

Whether you have network security experience or not, this competition will give you the opportunity to learn and practice vulnerability assessment, penetration testing and ethical hacking. You'll play Capture the Flag, a computer security game in which you try to compromise a number of increasingly fortified target systems. While not a substitute for a hacking class, this moderated competition will provide a challenging and fun way to put your attack skills to the test.
