Press Credentials

The CSI Annual Conference and CSI SX Conference are attended by a number of domestic and international journalists from a wide variety of respected publications and organizations. Please be aware that full conference press passes will be given to all those that qualify as members of the press, analyst or blog community. Computer Security Institute reserves the right to screen all requests, including on-site registration, and if necessary, refuse to register individuals who do not qualify.

Before registering, please take a moment to review the criteria below to determine whether or not you qualify for press credentials.

Also please note that you must have photo ID to obtain your press pass.

Registration Criteria

To qualify for press credentials, you must:

• be affiliated with a nationally or regionally recognized media outlet, analyst firm or industry related blog
• hold an editorial title, or;
• hold a position as an industry analyst, or;
• be a regular contributor with original, dated, industry-related news content for a blog that has been in existence for at least one year.

To obtain your press credentials at the show, please be prepared to present the following:

• An official business card, with your name and editorial/analyst title.
• An industry-related article published within the last six months that clearly displays authorship.
• Freelance journalists or photographers must provide a letter from a recognized media outlet stating that the freelancer has been retained to cover the CSI Annual or CSI SX Conference.

Please note: the following titles do not qualify for press credentials:

• Account Executive
• Administrative Assistant
• Assistant Production titles
• Associate Publisher
• CEO
• Engineer
• IS Manager
• Marketing/PR titles
• President
• Production titles
• Programmer
• Publisher
• Sales titles
• Vice President
• Web Master or personal website representatives

Your Press Pass

As a member of the working press attending the CSI Annual Conference or CSI SX, you receive full access to:

• Exhibit halls
• Keynote addresses
• All conference forums and conference sessions

Photography

To ensure the safety of everyone attending the Conference & Exhibition, please adhere to the following photography guidelines:

• Only cordless cameras are allowed on the Exhibition Floor.
• A riser and multi-box will be provided in the keynote room.
• No photography of any kind will be allowed in the Conference Sessions.
